General Information

Southwest Karting Association - The SKA is the body that sets the rules for Supertrack Southwest concerning the operation of the track as well as local rules for the karts.  Membership is optional for all racers.

Dues:  

Racer Paid membership dues are $35.00 per racer till December 31st of the same year.  $35.00 is also a family pack.  Dues for membership are due before the beginning of the 3rd race scheduled.  Paid members receive a $10.00 discount for each race attended (see pricing per event).  Paid members have voting privileges at meetings and may hold an Office in the SKA.  Paid members must attend at least 50% of the scheduled meetings.  Members who attend at least 50% of meeting will receive 100% points.  Members who have less than 50% attendance will have to throw away 4 race days.  Make 6 meetings and members will have all points at the end of the year.  

Associate Membership dues are $15.00 per person and good until December 31st of the same year.  Associate Members have voting privileges at meetings and may hold an Office in the  SKA.

Pricing per event:

        $25.00 per Non-Member Racer per class
        $15.00 per Member Racer per class
        $5.00 per racer per additional class
        $5.00 Pit Pass per non racer
        Spectators by donation
        Each person racing in any event must pay the full fee.  As noted above, there will be an additional $5.00 per 
        racer per class if a racer wants to race in more than one class per event.

Line up:

All racers shall draw pills for determination of starting position in the first heat.  The second heat will be inverted from the first heat line up.  Point totals from the 2 heats will be added to determine line up for the main event.  In the event of a tie, the racer with the higher pill draw will be awarded the position in the main line up.
